Safety

Safety is an important factor in our flight assistant's daily work. In order to achieve and enhance air operation safety, our employees continually receive further training. One of the basis' for this purpose is the so-called flight assistant syllabus recognised both by the SUVA (Swiss Accident Insurance) and the BAZL (Federal Office for Civil Aviation). Another educational basis is our own danger analysis which gets repeatedly adjusted in internal meetings together with external consultants.

As a company with activities throughout Europe we aim at conducting our training according to international standards and specifications. An important corner stone for this training is the Letrona fall protection course. Some of our employees successfully completed this training in 2008 and others shall follow suit this year.

With regard to safety and efficiency in operations, we are even going one step further. Not only is it our goal to train our crew, but to give our customers' and partners' employees a chance to support our personnel professionally on the construction site. For the third time last spring and in collaboration with the Swiss Cable Car Association we organised a training course titled "working with a helicopter".

During this 2-day course participants are taught, amongst others, the following subjects by means of practical and theoretical examples and exercises: safety at work, behaviour and danger in the vicinity of a helicopter, order processing etc. Thus we not only improve our customers' and partners' safety at work, but also the efficiency of our job execution.

Our training programme and all our other activities are based on legal foundations and our working methods and procedures are examined and audited by the SUVA (Swiss Accident Insurance) once a year.
